"The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
meets or exceeds the catechetical requirements
for children to first receive the Sacraments
of Reconciliation and Holy Communion . . ."
Bishop Jaime Soto, November 2, 2011
A solid intellectual understanding of the Faith enables the mature Christian to resist the assault of false philosophies, and to enlighten others' minds to the Truth. However, a deep, loving relationship with God best ensures that the young Christian will ever grow into that mature Christian.
While beginning to educate children's minds in the Faith, at least as importantly The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd helps them cultivate that loving relationship with God in their most formative years.
